For this 2D animation, my focus was primarily on stirring emotion. I went in search of a style that could properly capture the mood and feeling of the poem.

Student Kick-Off is Belgium’s biggest student welcome festival, which takes place annually on the first Wednesday of the academic year on Sint-Pietersplein in Ghent. The slogan of the festival is “For students, by students”, as the organisation is made up of students. It attracts as many as 30,000 students every year.

As a Design Coördinator since SKO 21, I am part of team PR, but also of a designer duo. Together with Korneel Taelemans, we were responsible for all the designs of the festival in 2022. Posters, wristbands, banners, drinks lists, LED screens, social media posts were all realized by us.
